Happy Birthday, Daddy!

Today is our Daddy's birthday. We love him very much and we thought it was time to post some photos of him as a baby on this blog since it's always us!

Looks like Daddy loved binks like Kieran and his swing like both of us did.

Love you,
Finley and Kieran

Houston, We Have.... SNOW!!?!!!?!

Huh? What? Did the bad place freeze over? It snowed in Houston this afternoon!

I am under the weather (Mommy) and was just getting out of a heavenly hot bath when my mother-in-law called to tell me it is snowing. WHAT!? I have never seen snow in Houston so I was so excited. I quickly put on a robe and grabbed my only awake (but hungry) child and made a (wo)man made hurricane in the bedroom to find some warm clothes. I bundled him up and drug him outside for the obligatory photos (yes still in my robe). Here they are...

What's this stuff?

I wonder if it will fall on my tongue?

I'm SOOOO over snow, Mommy!

Finley says, "What did I almost miss?" (Finley decided to take a three hour nap today and I couldn't get him to wake up! I guess the cold weather made him want to settle in for a long winter's nap so when he finally woke up the snow was almost gone. I had to take him out in his jammies and snap a few shots quickly before it completely melted. It wasn't very cold anymore once the flakes stopped falling)

What on earth is this? White rain?

It feels wet and cold, Mommy!

Disclaimer: And, yes, I know this is a pathetic amount of snow for many of you but humor us! We live in Houston where it NEVER snows so even one flake makes us want to go rent full ski gear and build a miniature snowman! It was actually falling pretty good but was hard to capture on the camera.

A Big Tree and a Big Weekend!

This past weekend was fun for the boys. On Saturday night, Mommy and Daddy went to a company Christmas party and had a great time while Finley and Kieran stayed with Grandmommy and Papa Ted. The boys had a great time, too. The boys told Mommy they are ready to go back and loved spending the night there!

On Sunday, we went to a local mall that had an ice skating rink and a big tree. We met Aunt Tami, Patsy, Aunt Jordyn, Aunt Kayleigh and their good friend Shania there and had a lot of fun! Finley had cheese pizza and said it was "mmmm mmmm dood!"

These pictures speak volumes. Enjoy!

I love my Jordyn!

Posing with the tree...

Aunt Tami and Finley...

Let me down, Kayleigh. I NEED to climb that tree!

Looking at all the pretty things...

Not really wanting to take a photo with the tree but Mommy insisted!

There it is... Pretty huh?

Kieran's Dedication

Kieran Avery was dedicated on Sunday, Nov. 30. We were happy that several family members and close friends were in attendance. Bryan, Cindy, Tyler, Dani and Rylee came. We really appreciated them coming as it was Aunt Cindy's birthday! Also in attendance was Aunt Aimie and Uncle Jason, Grandmommy and Papa Ted, Grandmo and Papa Lowell, Nanny Susie and Papa Ben and, of course, Mommy, Daddy and brother Finley.

Here are a few photos of the festivities.

Don't I look snazzy?

No caption needed...

Mmmm squash. While everyone else had delicious food after church, I had this! Thanks a lot, y'all!

Thanksgiving Part 2

Got my drink, got my snack and now I've got the best seat in the house for the Thanksgiving Day Parade...

I'll just play here on the purple quilt while I await brother's next performance...

Now where did I put that Wal-Mart Black Friday ad I had marked up for Santa?

His first day pushing this around was Thanksgiving Day. He's now becoming an old pro at it and will push it all over to get where he is going.... One step at a time...

Need Ideas...

Any ideas on how to keep critters out of the dog food?

Have Binks Will Travel...

I promise I didn't add anything to his formula... Good thing he was unscathed and unfazed (and so was binks... had we lost that there would've been issues) and went right on to the business at hand! :)

And here he is a week and a half ago the first time he tried the car out. He immediately knew how to work the key and steering wheel and open and close the door. Sound effects are courtesy of Finley!

Best free item ever! This is their favorite toy lately and they fight over it (Finley actually tried to pull Kieran out of it yesterday and then just climbed in on top of him when Kieran refused to budge)... Oh brother!

Thanksgiving Part 1

On Sunday, Nov. 23 we went to Nanny Susie's and Papa Ben's house for Thanksgiving lunch. We also got to see our Aunt Kimie (first time for Kieran) and Aunt Aimie. We had fun with Uncle Jason and meeting Dave too! Everyone spoiled us just like we like it! Here are some photos from the day. Mommy apologizes for being a bit behind. We keep her very busy and she gets behind on blogging. She promises to try and catch up.

Love,
Finley and Kieran

Note from Mommy:
As you can see, it was very tiring. Finley didn't even make it through lunch before he crashed in his highchair. He did enjoy the doggies who "walk" just like him though! And Kieran really enjoyed being held and entertained all day. Finley was on the go so there are not as many photos of him in this group. We had Kieran's dedication on Sunday and I also have tons of photos from the last week or so to share soon (including Thanksgiving day photos), but for now, I hope this will do. :-)

These are cool balls! I wonder if they bounce?!

Smile for the camera, Aunt Aimie! Good looks run in the family, huh?

That's a funny mouse!

Looks like we waited too long to get lunch on the table!

Aunt Kimie, Kieran and Dave. Aunt Kimie's cool like me! I had fun hanging with my aunts!

Silly!

That was a funny joke, Aunt Aimie!

Hanging out on the couch with Papa Ben, Itsy Bitsy, Candy, Aunt Aimie and Uncle Jason is fun. We were trying to watch the game but Mommy insists on taking pics. You know how she is!

Candy walks on all fours, too, y'all!

The End (for now)...
